Local Operational Handbook
Have you ever thought it would be helpful if there was an operational handbook in place for your volunteers? Presumably it would have information specifically relating to your local Talking Newspaper or Magazine such as how you want a production to consist of, how to get there and how to resolve problems that we all get on the way. A local Talking Newspaper Handbook has been produced by Darlington Talking Newspaper explaining to all their helpers what they want their production to be like, how to get there and how to resolve problems. It is comprehensive and yet concise. Have a quick scan and find out whether your Talking Newspaper or Magazine would gain from writing your own Handbook and if so here is one example. If you do write one in a different way please let us know so that other local Talking Newspapers and Magazines can benefit.
