Epsom and Ewell Talking Newspaper is a service for people who have difficulty reading text. It is not necessary to be registered as blind to receive the newspaper but in order to qualify for the Post Office’s free delivery service you do need to certify to us that you are unable to read print easily. The Epsom and Ewell Talking Newspaper produces and distributes an audio recording each week on a Thursday consisting of three main sections: - The News – taken from local newspapers - The Magazine – with a varied selection of articles, recipes, poems and jokes and - The Supplement – with articles both of general interest and of special interest to the blind and partially sighted. There is no charge for the newspaper.
