Directory – Macclesfield Talking Newspaper

For over 50 years the Macclesfield Talking Newspaper has provided local news and interesting articles for blind and visually impaired people in the Cheshire East area.  In order to maintain a high standard for our listeners, we’ve recently undertaken a revamp of our service, which now includes more original content provided by our volunteers, local writers and poets. We have embraced the use of technology to provide a more modern and innovative service, whilst still embracing the legacy and tradition of the Talking Newspaper. The service is provided free of charge to our listeners and is produced every two weeks by a team of dedicated volunteers. We are always looking to improve our service so that we continue to inform, entertain and connect with our listeners for many years to come.
