Pontefract TN records the Pontefract and Castleford Express every Thursday and send it out the same day to our listeners. These usually live in the area around Pontefract, Castleford and Knottingley but also include former residents who have moved away to other parts of the country. We record the paper on to memory sticks, each listener being provided with an appropriate device to listen to them where necessary. Originally all our listeners were sent (on permanent loan) a suitable player, but we are finding that new referrals often have a computer or a radio with a USB port and don't need to borrow one from us.
