We rely on volunteers to run both Talking News Federation and the community of local talking newspapers. The work can be very rewarding and offers openings unlike many other voluntary organisations. If you’re able to devote some time to our work, here are some ways in which you can help.
Volunteer with TNF
Despite our national scope Talking News Federation is a small team, and we’re always happy to talk about potential openings for volunteers who are interested in helping us. Please click here for more information.
Donate to TNF
TNF is a charity that relies solely on membership fees and donations to fund our operations. We always welcome donations, no matter how small. If you’d like to make a financial contribution please click here for more information.
Become a TN Volunteer
Your local talking newspaper can offer interesting volunteering opportunities. If you have a good reading voice, a background in audio engineering or IT, or enjoy administrative work, then there are plenty of ways in which you can help. Read about the roles in a typical local TN here.
Our Supporters
In addition to openings for volunteers, TNF is always keen to build mutually-beneficial relationships with other organisations working in the visually-impaired and print-disabled sector. Please contact us if you’d like to talk about how we can help each other.
