TNF has now launched its updated website, including new ways to help potential listeners find their local TN. Being found on the internet has never been more important, writes TNF Chairman Amanda Reed. More and more people with sight loss are using the internet, but just as importantly friends, relatives and carers all use the internet to find services for their loved ones or those they care for. If your TN doesn’t show up on our ‘Find a TN’ page, or we hold the wrong details for you, people won’t be able to make contact with you. So take a look at our new website and please check that your details are correct. If you need to update your details email any changes to enquiries@tnf.org.uk.
Treasurer
TNF is looking for a new Treasurer as Richard Black has decided to step down after 10 years. If you are interested – or know someone else who may be interested – please let us know by emailing enquiries@tnf.org.uk. Richard is offering training and full handover to the new Treasurer, so if you think you have the skills to join the team get in touch!
Thankyou
And finally, a huge thank you to all the trustees and volunteers who have achieved so much this so this year. We really are striving forward, with Roadshows, Tech days, the upcoming National Conference & AGM and future dates and topics agreed for Winter Workshops held on Zoom. Don’t forget that as well as events, we also offer assistance to member TNs in many ways – including Talk Phone, TNF Soundings, MyTN, development support for your TN, studio health checks, sample policy and guidance documents, and so much more. Check out our new website for all your member benefits. We offer so much more than insurance!
